Stem Cells and Biomaterials Lab Bio
Our laboratory focuses on the development and application of various biomaterials. In recent years, our research areas have included organ-on-a-chip, in vitro model establishment, and cancer therapy. For organ-on-a-chip development, we integrate neural stem cell regulation, microchip design, and disease modeling to simulate multiple neurodegenerative diseases on the chip. Additionally, we have successfully established a breast cancer bone metastasis chip to investigate the mechanisms of the metastatic microenvironment. We are also developing a range of bioinks for in vitro 3D bioprinting, which simulates various organ and cancer microenvironments, as well as conductive bioinks for neural tissue engineering applications. Moreover, we design various delivery systems, including injectable hydrogels, homogeneous microsphere encapsulation systems, and microneedle delivery systems, for drug delivery, gene delivery, cancer therapy, and immunomodulation applications."
